Where is the Adelaide Hills Wine Region?
Adelaide Hills region stretches from Mount Pleasant in the north to Mount Compass in the south. Together with Eden Valley it forms Australia’s largest cool climate viticultural region, outside of Coonawarra/Padthaway in the south east of South Australia, with vineyards at a height of more than 400 metres above sea level. Eden Valley Region stretching from Moculta to Mount Pleasant is the historic home of the famous names of Hanschke, Yalumba and Mountadam. The diverse hills regions are certainly at the forefront of the quality wine development of Australia. The sky is the limit so to speak.
